From the Met

The Met

In November, my sister was determined to show me as much of New York City as she could in the three days that she was off from work. We roamed around Manhattan, absorbing the fast-paced life and assortment of coffee and restaurant options. One of those days was dedicated to The Metropolitan Museum of Art (better known as the Met). We quickly scanned through a few of the exhibits and read as many placards as we could. As we stopped to admire a crystallized deer (it’s a real thing, I promise), I stumbled across a tiny window on one of the upper floors that overlooked the scene pictured above. The photo was taken with an iPhone, but there was something so serene and satisfying about that view that I felt compelled to share.

Enjoy the weekend!
