Mirrored Skies

Still waters, clear skies, and the first few minutes after sunset. These are three ingredients that, when combined, make for a breath-taking sight. On this particular day, it seemed that water was left behind during low tide, creating islands of sand among shallow pools of static water.

Although the composition of this shot is not the most interesting, I thought that it was one that nicely captured this scene: bodies of water perfectly reflecting the muted colors of the tranquil sky.
